On December 30, 2021, the regulatory bases of the Digital Kit program were published. These bases are the operating rules for this subsidy program for the start-up of digitization solutions for freelancers and companies with less than 50 employees.
The next step in the project is the opening of the application period for aid for each of the business segments, depending on the number of employees. The first group will be that of companies with 10 to 49 employees, for which we expect the call at the beginning of February. From the opening of the call there will be a period of 3 months to request the aid. A few months later the calls for companies with less than 10 workers will be opened.
We can take care of requesting this aid on behalf of your company, for this you must authorize us to be your “voluntary representative” in order to carry out all the procedures.
Once the grant has been confirmed, we will also help you choose the solutions that add the most value to your business. The services may be subsidized up to one hundred percent during the first 12 months, you will only have to pay the VAT that is not covered by the subsidy. It is a great opportunity to launch new solutions that help make your business more efficient and profitable.
With the aim of helping the member states of the European Union to face the economic crisis caused by Covid-19, the European Union has created the “Next Generation EU” European Funds, which represent an ambitious investment project to build a Europe more sustainable, digital and resilient. Better adapted to current and future challenges. These funds aim to promote economic recovery and growth, promoting a modernization of the continental economy based on two axes: sustainability and digitization.
The “Next Generation EU” funds are endowed with 750,000 million to be distributed among the member states between 2021 and 2027. Spain, thanks to its Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, will be the country that will obtain the largest endowment from these funds with nearly 150,000 millions of euros.
Digital Kit: 3,000 million to digitize the self-employed and SMEs in Spain
The self-employed and SMEs are of fundamental importance in this recovery plan, as they represent two thirds of Spanish GDP and 75% of employment. Thanks to these European funds, plans have already been initiated to support the rehabilitation of business buildings, energy self-consumption and mobility (improvement of fleets and industrial vehicles).
On November 25, the Digital Kit program was presented, an initiative of the administration to support the implementation of digital solutions in Spanish companies with less than 50 employees. This plan seeks to improve the competitiveness of the self-employed and SMEs by facilitating their digitization. The objective of the program is to subsidize between twelve and two thousand euros, a series of services that help improve the competitiveness of more than one million SMEs and the self-employed.
At SG INTERNATIONAL SERVICES we have launched this Digital Kit for Companies as “digitizing agents”, with a catalog of digital solutions for the self-employed and SMEs that includes three eligible categories in the Digital Kit program: (program financed with funds from the Recovery Plan, Transformation and Resilience of Spain, with funds from the European Plan Next Generation EU).
